Baileys Best British Oats & Honey Oats
Baileys Best British Oats are carefully selected, top quality oats grown in the UK. They are thoroughly cleaned, clipped and lightly bruised to maximise nutrient availability. Bruising, rather than crushing, the oats is less likely to result in significant nutrient losses over time and creates less dust.

In producing Honey Oats, Baileys take the best quality oats which are thoroughly cleaned and bruised before being lightly coated with a blend of pure natural honey and soya oil. Not only does this help reduce any risk of dust but the delicious aroma and flavour of honey has been found perfect for tempting fussy feeders at the peak of fitness, whilst the additional oil helps increase the energy level of the oats without adding to their starch content.

Honey is a concentrated source of natural simple sugars and a little goes a long way which means that, whilst Honey Oats have the advantage of increased palatability, they are not left feeling sticky and have a lower sugar content than traditional molasses coated feeds. Widely recognised as having many beneficial properties, honey contains anti-oxidant vitamins and minerals as well as prebiotic sugars, which act as a food source for beneficial bifidobacteria in the horse's gut.

Best British Oats and Honey Oats are best fed alongside a complementary feed formulated to provide the additional nutrients necessary for a healthy, balanced diet. Ideal products from the Baileys range include Oat Balancer Mix, Lo-Cal balancer (pellet) or Gro'N Win stud balancer (pellet). For feeding rates or advice, contact our nutritionists.
