A highly palatable and light mix, with no pellets, Weight Gain Mix® is based on micronised barley for improved digestibility and to minimise digestive upsets. The inclusion of peas, locust beans, linseed and soya oil together with carefully selected herbs that work in synergy with other ingredients, provides an extremely effective feed for putting on weight and condition.
Weight Gain Mix® is fully supplemented with vitamins and minerals and the addition of Protexin may help maintain the balance of beneficial bacteria in your horse’s gut. When used in conjunction with other Allen & Page feeds, Weight Gain Mix® provides flexibility, allowing controlled weight increase. Not suitable for horses with intolerances to cereal or sugar, Weight Gain Mix® is ideal for show horses, and for use during the winter when weight is harder to keep on.
PROTEXIN - Your horse needs a healthy balance of micro-organisms in its gut for good digestion. When this is upset a feed containing Protexin may help restore the correct balance. (May be beneficial after the use of wormers and antibiotics.)
