In response to recent research and demand from customers Dodson & Horrell are launching a new veteran horse feed.
New Sixteen Plus Cubes are the cube equivalent of Sixteen Plus Mix and offer all the same great benefits. Also the cube form makes it far easier for older horses which suffer with poor dentition to eat, especially when fed soaked. This is something that often needs addressing with the veteran horse.
Both Sixteen Plus Mix and Sixteen Plus Cubes include glucosamine, linseed containing omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and the Veteran QLC anti-oxidant package. This combination of ingredients helps to nutritionally support mobility and joint integrity, digestion, skin, coat and hoof condition.
The Veteran Horse Welfare group, a charity dedicated to the welfare of older horses and ponies have been using Sixteen Plus for many years and have been trailing the new product for Dodson & Horrell. Julianne Aston, founder of the charity commented ‘Sixteen Plus Cubes are a real break though and perfect for veteran horses suffering with teeth problems and those without, we have had some fantastic results from trialling the feed.
